Nov 13th

Think about/figure out what im doing for animation final.
doing rotoscoping, and add in a frame by frame blob thing reacting with me.

Nov 11th

Worked on stop motion with Erik and Ariel.
Used white board to draw, made bunny eaten by blob, blob being stabbed and turned into candy.
Then a goomba being smooshed.
And a doodle.

November 9th

Worked with Erik and Ariel on stop motion animation.
Unwrpapped and used starburst.
Then moved an octopus throught the camera.
Then Ariel and Erik drew.
Then Ariel used wire and made it slither across the screen.

We then planned for the final for stop motion

November after RFC (first week)

Started doing Rotoscope animation.
Recorded self giving thumbs up and drew over it for about 130 frames.
worked on it in class for 2 hours.
Brought home and worked on it the nights of the 2nd and 3rd. for about 6 hours.
Finished and turned it in.

Oct 28th RFC i explanation

The process i took in animating the RFC animation was to base it off a doodle in flash, expand an idea of the assignment and work it around the doodle.
I worked the animatic out and built the rough of the story
Giant ->people -> people in orb -> giant throws orb -> other giant helps them out of orb -> people walk off.

and got the basic structure for most of what was needed to accomplish the animation.

I then worked on fixing up parts of the animation, and coloring old sketches from the animatic to be used in the animation.

i spent a lot of time trying to make the movement of the giants arm not super terrible, but because of how i had built his arm, it was proving to be difficult. I experimented with the bone tool, but didn't figure it out and gave up.
I lost about 40 mins fo work to a crash when i was trying to save my animation.  But got almost all of it back by using a SWF decompiler, when testing a movie, it creates a temp SWF file, so i was able to get what i had done back because i had been testing it.

I lost a lot of work hours from being sick, and didn't get the project done by the deadline, but a few days after.
