Till break i had about 245 frames of my left hand and 150 of my right hand drawn out for my rotoscope.
I worked by tracing every-every other frame of my hands, one hand at a time.
I ended up tracing my hands around 600-700 times between how many times i re traced from messing up.
Over break i worked all night thursday, friday, saturday night till 5 am, And while i worked i re watched all of samurai jack to help pass time.
I came back to school with my project almost complete, i just needed to animate about 100 frames of my right hand, and add in the blob.
Added in blob by working blindly, this messed me up a few times, and had to re do some sections to get timing right (Clap of the hands).
It was originally a solid white, but i preferred the look of the empty blob
Worked for about 4-5 hours to finish the blob and have it tweaked to look right.
No jumpy movements, trying to make sure i didn't over do it when it was moving fast.
Finished the Animation final Monday night, had it ready for class the next day.
Finished the project with about 20-24 Hours of work time.
Came to class, had crit, took 15 minuets and added a title scene and fade out to the end. Entire animation ended up at about 20 seconds.
This past week i made the powerpoint for my presentation, and found a video to go along with it of pixar working on The Incredibles.
I just made a powerpoint of general information about the company because surprisingly i couldn't find much information on them.

Unwrpapped and used starburst.
Then moved an octopus throught the camera.
Then Ariel and Erik drew.
Then Ariel used wire and made it slither across the screen.
We then planned for the final for stop motion

Oct 28th RFC i explanation
The process i took in animating the RFC animation was to base it off a doodle in flash, expand an idea of the assignment and work it around the doodle.
I worked the animatic out and built the rough of the story
Giant ->people -> people in orb -> giant throws orb -> other giant helps them out of orb -> people walk off.
and got the basic structure for most of what was needed to accomplish the animation.
I then worked on fixing up parts of the animation, and coloring old sketches from the animatic to be used in the animation.
i spent a lot of time trying to make the movement of the giants arm not super terrible, but because of how i had built his arm, it was proving to be difficult. I experimented with the bone tool, but didn't figure it out and gave up.
I lost about 40 mins fo work to a crash when i was trying to save my animation. But got almost all of it back by using a SWF decompiler, when testing a movie, it creates a temp SWF file, so i was able to get what i had done back because i had been testing it.
I lost a lot of work hours from being sick, and didn't get the project done by the deadline, but a few days after.

RFC questions
1 How did plan realte to final project sotryboard/animatic.
I've Followed teh animatic and storyboard pretty well so far, only cutting things out twice to cut down on time consuming aspects.
2. What were the biggest problems.
Trying to do complicated frame by frame animation. Being sick.
3. What were you pleased with.
Not to much, the animation looks sorta stiff. I was pleased with the frame by frame of the hand lifting up.
4.What would you do differently next project?
Plan a bit better, less guesswork on how to animate certain aspects.

Worked at home
Worked on story board homework for a good 40 mins.
Then worked on Note card animation, Decided i didn't like how it was going to come out, started over.
Going a lot more cartoony with this version, realistic would take to long in the end.
worked on first one for about an hour and a half, second for about 45 mins.
Not able to update at home, don't have internet.

Animation
Used tablet and flash to make animations.
- Blob bouncing around
- Frog Blob jumping around and eating a fly
- Same frog, no fly, longer period of jumping around at the end. Almost 30 seconds at the end.

Flash
Animated a spoon spinning in flash in class tuesday.
Looked at everyones zoetropes and flipbooks as well.
Thought about how to re-make the flipbook in flash with a tablet.
